วันที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2566 ผู้ช่วยศาตราจารย์ ดร.ปรีชา ศรีเรืองฤทธิ์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการประกวดแข่งขันทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ ประจำปี พ.ศ.2566 (PCRU English Speech, Story Telling, and Singing Contests 2023) โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์สพลเชษฐ์ ประชุมชัย ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ กล่าวรายงานการจัดโครงการ ณ ห้องประชุมหมื่นจง และห้องประชุมศรีชมภู อาคารเฉลิมพระเกียรติฉลองสิริราชสมบัติครบ 60 ปี ซึ่งกิจกรรมในวันนี้ประกอบไปด้วยการแข่งขัน English Speech สำหรับนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ม.4 – 6) และ Story Telling สำหรับนักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ป.4 – 6) โดยวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดโครงการประกวดแข่งขัน เพื่อเป็นเวทีให้นักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมและมัธยมศึกษาได้แสดงศักยภาพของตนเองในด้านการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ ปลูกฝังความมั่นใจในตนเอง และกระตุ้นให้เกิดความตระหนักถึงความสำคัญในการใช้ภาษาที่ถูกต้องเหมาะสมในการสื่อสาร ด้วยแนวคิดที่มีตรรกะอย่างเป็นระบบและมีประสิทธิภาพ อันเป็นพื้นฐานในการเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้แก่ผู้อื่น ร่วมพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และสร้างความร่วมมือทางด้านวิชาการระหว่างสถานศึกษาและมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งในวันนี้ มีตัวแทนนักเรียนจากจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ และจังหวัดพิจิตร เข้าร่วมมากกว่า 26 โรงเรียน ขอขอบพระคุณ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สุรเชษฐ เอี่ยมสำอาง รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ และ อาจารย์ ดร. นิคม โยกัญญา รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบัณฑิตศึกษาและกิจการพิเศษ ที่ได้ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานมอบรางวัลสำหรับผู้ชนะการประกวดในครั้งนี้
On June 15, 2023, the International Affairs and Language Institute organized the PCRU English Speech, Storytelling, and Singing Contests 2023. The opening ceremony for the PCRU Storytelling and Singing Contests was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Sriruangrith at the Muenjong Auditorium, located in the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne Building (The President’s Office) at Phetchabun Rajabhat University. Asst. Prof. Sapolachet Prachumchai, the assistant president for foreign affairs, delivered the opening speech. The day’s activities included an English speech competition for senior high school students (M.4-6) and storytelling for primary students (P.4-6). The primary objectives of these contests were to provide a platform for students to showcase their English language skills, foster self-confidence, and emphasize the importance of effective communication through logical and systematic thinking. The aim was to enhance understanding, inspire others, and promote exchange learning and academic collaboration among institutions. Participants included representatives from 26 schools in Phetchabun and Pichit provinces. Special thanks were extended to Asst. Prof. Dr. Surachet Aiumsamang, the vice president for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Nikom Yokanya, the vice president for Graduate Studies and Special Affairs, for their presence and for presenting awards to the winners.
